How to Delete a Virus after Scan in Avast-Antivirus?
1. Scan the file and Folder or any External device using Avast.
2. After scan is complete it will show you the report to that Scan which will contain the total scan time, Number of tested files and folder, Total size of the scanned memory and the number of infected files.
3. Click on "Show Results".
4. It will show a detail report of total infected files. You can choose a particular action for each infected virus file by choosing an option from the drop down menu of "Action".
5. If you want to do a particular action for all infected files then choose an option from the drop down menu of "Apply this action for all" at the bottom of the details report of open Window.
6. Click on "Apply". Necessary action Will be carried out.
Meaning of Various action in Avast Action Center
Move To Chest: It will move the virus file to a secure folder (Chest) of avast where that file will not affect your system anymore.
Repair: It will remove the virus and repair the infected files.
Delete: It will delete the infected file immediately.
Do Nothing: It will not take any action to the virus file and leave it.
How to Password Protect A Website Using Avast-Antivirus?

1. Open avast program and add a password to the Avast.

2. After addition of password click on "Additional Protection" on the left pane of avast program.
3. Choose "Site Blocking".
4. On the right pane tick on "Enable site blocking" on the open window.
5. Then on the "URLs to Block" section add the website that you want to block.
6. Click on Enter. (Give the password for confirmation if asked)
7. That is it. Now reboot your system and you will find that the URL are blocked by Avast.
Note: To open those URL remove them from site blocking on step 5.
Important Note: The Avast-antivirus Browser Addon should be enabled on Your Browser.

1. Open Avast antivirus.
2. Click on "setting".
3. Navigate to "passwords" tab on the left pane of open Window.
4. On the right pane you will get an option "Protect avast with password". Just tick that option.
5. Now Enter your desired password for avast two time on the boxes "Password" and "Re-Enter Password".
6. below that you will get an option "Protected Areas". Just tick the option on where you want avast ask for password.
7. Click on "Ok". That is it. Now your avast program is password protected.
Remove Passwords from Avast! Antivirus
To remove passwords from Avast antivirus you just unchecked the option at step-4Avast Anti-Virus 2013 With One Year Licence Free Download:
Process:
1. Download and Install the application.
2. Now open Avast user interface by double clicking the mouse on shortcut icon on desktop
3. Now click on "maintenance" tab on the left side of the open window and choose "registration" (you will find the Current status as unregistered.)4. Now on the "registration Information" click on "Register Now"
5. Wait for some time after retrieving your system information a new window will open asking the type of registration.
6. Now select "Stay with avast free antivirus" and click on "register".
7. Wait for some time after retrieving some information , a new window for registration asking your tittle,name,email,country and from where you know about this will be opened.
8. Now fill the information on the desired place and click on "Register For free licensee"
9. It will show an confirmation message that your one year registration for the program has successfully done.

How to Make a virus and Test Your Anti-Virus that whether it is working properly or not?(Windows XP,Vista,7)
Procedure:
1. Open your notepad or word pad or any other text editor what you have.2. Copy the following bolded text

3. Now save the text editor file and give it a .exe extension. (Suppose virus.exe)
4. If your antivirus detect it as a virus then it is properly working.
5. If no then it is not properly working or corrupted or the validity of the antivirus has expired. So better to change the anti virus to keep your system secure from malware or virus.
